I love it, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. No more need to install some parts in the skimmer and hoses; you simply immerse the Polaris turn it on and it works. Best purchase ever.
We absolutely love our Polaris 9450. We purchased this unit about 3 weeks ago, and this by far, was the best $1000 dollars we have ever spent!! I would love to give this unit 5 stars, but in reality, it would be 4 1/2 stars. The unit itself is great, it cleans better then I do with a vac, if it flips over, it can flip itself back over. So the only problem we have, is the cord tangles and it can be frustrating to untangle. Maybe over time , with some more use, the cable won’t tangle as easy. Dear Adrian, Thanks for sharing your valuable feedback. Here are some suggestions to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distribution instead of dropping the cable in a lump in one spot. I really like our cleaner. It doesn't do a perfect job along the sides of the bottom but it's doing well. I have not tried to program schedules because I take it out of the pool, clean it and put it away each time I use it. We have a 20x50 pool and it takes 3 to 5 hours for it to do a good job of cleaning the floor and not .missing places. Overall satisfied.
I purchased a used 9330XI from a friend and thought it was a good cleaner, but when I got our new 9450 I was amazed at how well it climbs the walls and scrubs the tile. The AWD keeps it from getting stuck on our 2 bottom drains, an issue we had with the 9330. I recommend the 9450 to everyone.
The Polaris 9450 gets every speck of dirt/ leaves out of our pool. We love it!
