it misses spots in my pool even when I extend the running period. I set it to "floor only" from its preset time and bumped it up to, 2.5 hours and still misses spots. My pool is 16x35 and this robot should be more than capable of cleaning my pool. Completely dissatisfied with this purchase and now stuck with a pool robot that cost me just under 1k.

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. What a disappointment. The vacuum does a bad job of picking up dirt in corners and the edges of the pool. you may as well vacuum yourself because you will have to any way when it is done. Have fun with the cord that totally gets tangled and gives you rope burns as you try to untangle when you put it away.
I loved it until a month in when the cart just stopped working for some unknown reason!

This model works pretty well but we would have spent the extra $200 for the 9550 Sport but the store employees told us the only difference between the 9450 and 9550 was the remote control. They were completely wrong. The 9550 has more features than the 9450.
4 wd much better than the previous 9300 Sport. The cord has a higher tendency for curling which makes the rotating union an absolute necessity. My last unit last 7 years with careful TLC, I hope this one lasts longer.
Easy to use and stores out of site on the stand. Can’t aeem to get it to cover the entire pool, doesn’t want to cover the shallow end as much.
Cleans very good but after 20 minutes of cleaning on the floor only mode it starts cleaning the walls and water line on its own. Talked to tech at Polaris but that was just a big waste of time

Good, however the way water exit in the back makes dirt fly away when the robot climbs the walls, so instead of going in the machine it just gets wash away in the pool.

Hi Mario, Thanks for your feedback. Have you considered using a Fine or Ultra Fine canister in your Polaris 9450 cleaner? Some homeowners with very fine debris may need to use an alternate canister type to better match their pool debris. The canister part numbers are: R0517800 (Fine) and R0535800 (Ultra Fine).
