I purchased a Polaris pool robot cleaner less than a year ago from Amazon, and I'm thoroughly disappointed. It recently stopped working, and when I attempted to seek warranty support at local stores, I was informed that Polaris does not accept warranty claims for products bought from Amazon. I bought a Polaris 945o 3years & four months ago the unit died one of the wheel stop turning the motor stopped working the wire needed replacing Polaris would not honour a warranty three years was three years that was it even though the unit was only three years and four months old they offered me nothing as a credit extremely bad customer for the price it should be more reliable

it misses spots in my pool even when I extend the running period. I set it to "floor only" from its preset time and bumped it up to, 2.5 hours and still misses spots. My pool is 16x35 and this robot should be more than capable of cleaning my pool. Completely dissatisfied with this purchase and now stuck with a pool robot that cost me just under 1k.

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. What a disappointment. The vacuum does a bad job of picking up dirt in corners and the edges of the pool. you may as well vacuum yourself because you will have to any way when it is done. Have fun with the cord that totally gets tangled and gives you rope burns as you try to untangle when you put it away.
I loved it until a month in when the cart just stopped working for some unknown reason!

This model works pretty well but we would have spent the extra $200 for the 9550 Sport but the store employees told us the only difference between the 9450 and 9550 was the remote control. They were completely wrong. The 9550 has more features than the 9450.
4 wd much better than the previous 9300 Sport. The cord has a higher tendency for curling which makes the rotating union an absolute necessity. My last unit last 7 years with careful TLC, I hope this one lasts longer.
Easy to use and stores out of site on the stand. Can’t aeem to get it to cover the entire pool, doesn’t want to cover the shallow end as much.
