Polaris 9450 Sport Robotic Pool Cleaner

I bought the Polaris 9450 and immediately brought home and put it in the pool. The unit worked like the manufacturer said it would. My only concern is the fact that it will not pick up silt or fine debris. I think a filter that would pick it up and trap it would be the only thing I would change.

To improve fine debris cleaning, we recommend getting the Fine (R0517800) or Ultra Fine (R0535800) debris canisters that are available at local pool stores. Just keep in mind that the fine debris canisters need to be brushed gently with a soft brush and mild soap on occasion to prevent fine debris build up. We hope this info helps! I love the Polaris 9450 Spirt Robotic Pool cleaner. If Polaris could make some kind of swivel so the cord doesn’t get tangled, it would get 5 stars. All in all, it does a great job!
This is my third Polalaris robotic pool cleaner, I get a lot of leaves and flowers in my pool. They are expensive to buy and repair, but way cheaper than a pool service and easier than vacuuming. Have had other pool cleaners that just didn’t do a good job. I would replace it with another in three years if this one died. Best investment for my pool I ever made!
