This Polaris Atlas pool cleaner is the real deal. Super easy to set up and is so much better at cleaning than our old Pentair unit. It was literally up and running in minutes and hasn’t skipped a beat since it entered use a month ago. 5 stars on this purchase.
Overall, excellent pool cleaner. Only have a month so have to see how long it last before needing a bunch of parts. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because of hoses. Not because they are bad. Most pool owners I know have the old style hoses. I use an in line filter and looked all over for an adapter to connect new hoses to filter. Had to buy online from Amazon. Polaris should include these adapters.
Works fantastic. So much better than the other brand we had
functions well, only downside so far has been it takes all of the suction power of the Jandy pump to run the cleaner. So I can't let it run with skimmers or main drain using suction at the same time
A fantastic Pool Vacuum Cleaner! I highly recommend it. I bought the unit on 3/10/2025. The unit has worked flawlessly, It goes all over my pool (15 X 30), up the walls (3-5ft) with no issues. It's interesting, because of the cleaner's brushing mechanism working so well, I find my filter needing more frequent cleaning. I have a pool railing and sometimes I gets trapped, but it quickly gets free again on its own. This unit does not need any supervision.
