Polaris bag Works great and simple to install...love it!
Excellent at silt removal Works perfectly with my Polaris 280. I swap this bag in after leaves are removed about once a week. Some have said the silt sticks in the Velcro but a good manual with a hose sprayer after use takes care of that. It is smaller than a normal bag but a normal size bag filled with silt would be too heavy and drag. I know because I learned this the hard way!

It does work however, Immediately when plunged into the sandy bottom of my pool results could be seen sucking up its intended target. Soon the results became negligent when the undersized bag became about an eighth full. Once it was emptied. it began its sand removal function again. It does remove the sand however, you need to empty it frequently. A "fine" filter bag optimized for removing sediment. Gets the job done just pay attention.

It's a genuine Polaris K16 Exactly as advertised. Delivered in 2 days - FedEx.These fine-mesh bags last me 2 to 3 years and keep the bottom super clean. I use generic zipper bags during leaf / pollen seasons. (I have a 16 year old 280).
K14 must stand for 14 months because that's how long it lasted I like the fine filter that picked up dirt and sand but feel like it should last longer than 14 months.
