Great Replacement Bag Mesh is fine enough to catch the sand that gets into my pool - unlike the factory bag that came with my Polaris. The Velcro closure will outlast the zipper that failed on the original bag too.
a fine mesh will eventually get weak and tear I wish they lasted longer, but when you have it running daily and sitting in water, a fine mesh will eventually get weak and tear. It's inexpensive enough to replace annually. It's totally worth having a clean pool though, especially the sand that gets in there.
Great sand filter Fits perfectly and does the job great. Being as it's OEM it's more expensive than it needs to be, but that's always the case.I have this one for spring and summer to get all the sand that got deposited over the winter, and then switch to the leaf bag during the fall and winter.Keep in mind this is a smaller bag because it's mostly designed to take out sand and finer particles. If you get a big bunch of leaves in the pool you're going to be busy emptying it.
Small bag. Small bag. Not the one I usually get. Be sure and check size of bag. They are not all the same.
Bag Tore At Seam After 6 Weeks Good for sand/dirt but very small and not ideal for leaves. Disappointed that the seam unraveled after the first couple of months and already needs to be replaced.
Great price for this bag Great price for this bag. I can swap it out easily to pick up the fine particles that my K14 leaves behind.
I am happy with the purchase I am happy with the purchase, but as of yet not used. Have been away and had patched my old one to work alittle longer. I was the right one so all is good!
Sand and Silt bag works very well This sand and silt bag works very well. I use it in conjunction with two zip up bags for my Polaris 280. It picks up the sand and grit very well. the pool floor and water is much cleaner now. I had a previous Polaris 160 which had the Velcro sealed bag, so this is no problem for emptying and revealing the sand and silt bag. I plan to use the sand and silt bag during the regular swim season in the summer. Then use my regular bags for the Fall and Spring when larger debris like leaves and pine... read more
Great for capturing sand/dirt and small leaves. Not particularly durable. Works as expected capturing small leaves and lots of sand/dirt but it is not very durable. Lasted about 6 months before rips and tears started appearing.
