Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner
Polaris was easy to assemble and adjust so it would not climb out of the pool. Would be nice to have leaf catcher as part of the original purchase.

Our original pool cleaner was less than a year old but was quite inefficient. We needed a pool cleaner that would keep not only the bottom of the pool clean but also help keep the sides clean. We needed help! After researching and talking with Leslie's staff, we chose the Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner. I was looking at robotic cleaners for over $1,000. I saw tests that showed their coverage. Their coverage is random, so there are always spots left untouched. And, they only operate for 2 hours on each charge. The MAXX is &500-$700 less expensive. It doesn't need to be recharged. So I start it and let it run for 5 hours while I do REAL work. It works pretty good, but not so great climbing pebble tech walls. It will go about half way and lose traction.
