We are in Arizona and there are high gusts of wind and debris from trees that may not be on our property always blowing in the pool. Add the dust storms a rugged vac is needed that gets the floor clean. The pool is also used to exercise the three Newfoundland's dogs we have and the ease of accessing and clearing the pool cleaner is hassle free. Would definitely recommend this pool vac. Costs a little bit more but it is well worth it in maintenance costs and time.

This is a great pool cleaner! It picks up everything and doesn’t get stuck on the curved steps. Really glad we upgraded from the older model.
