The Polaris max is a great cleaner. It replaced my my old mx8. The pool has never been cleaner, it’s been a week and has never been caught or stuck

Does a great job cleaning the pool quickly. Our pool has never looked so clean. My only complaint is it doesn't fit into the port we have tightly. It gets easily knocked out so I have to constantly check if it has stayed connected.

First, verify proper flow by counting the wheel rotations of the cleaner tracks. Next, ensure the hose float is positioned approximately 9" from the cleaner. So far it works well. I hope it lasts longer than the Atlas XT it replaced whose major parts wore out in 2.5 years. Prior to both the Atlas and Polaris I had a Zoiac MX8 that lasted 6 years. Wondering if the difference is a cost reduced new design with inferior quality and material.
