I love my new cleaner, it goes up on the walls, steps, something my previous cleaner didn't do!!

The cleaner works really well. The hoses don't tangle up. The cleaner crawls up the wall to the water line. Operates at 1/2 spped on a Variable speed pump. Goes really slow at 1/3 speed but will move on the pool floor. Only problem is the rebate. Leslie Pools said $125 and Polaris only offered $100. Filling out the rebate online forms seemed to be an entrance test for computer grad school as is was so difficult I think Polaris was hoping buyers would give up and lose out on the money. The unit seems to be doing it’s job quite well. Love that it climbs the walls as well. We had a Barracuda previously. The coverage and efficiency of the MAXX is far superior.

It was an easy installation. Up and running in minutes. I did hear there might be a free leaf basket. Is that true?

I have not been successful in getting it to clean the shallow end very well.
