Enjoying my P825. It’s doing the job as it claims. Love the wall cleaning feature. The only concern is the filter. Filter work great however when I remove and hold it from the sides the bottom pops open and it drops to the ground. It woul be great if the latched release from the top not from the bottom where can not be seen when pulling the filtre out if the cleaner. I general I give P825 an A+

So far after 1 day it was good.
Vacuum works great; climbs walls and learns the layout of the pool. The pre-programmed timer makes it convenient to set and walk away. As recommended by the sales rep, be sure to take it out of the pool when done and carefully coil up the floating power cord and it should last a long time. Also good to cover it to keep sun off of it to protect the plastic from UV--i'm getting a smoker BBQ grill cover.
We replaced our Hayward Shark with the Polaris P825, and the difference in their function and cleaning ability is remarkable! The Shark would get stuck all the time and spend an entire cleaning cycle in one spot. The Polaris cruises around effortlessly and leaves our pool spotless. Not to mention it’s so easy to clean the Polaris by popping the filter basket out and hosing down. Cleaning the Shark was an absolute nightmare with all of its separate parts. We’re super happy with our Polaris!
Great little machine that makes cleaning the bottom of the pool a cinch. It’s not as strong on the sides of the pool and struggles to get up the walls of my vinyl pool.

A couple tips to improve wall climbing: ensure the cleaner is on the Floor/Wall setting and that the Surface Control System™ (SCS) is in setting 4 if you have a smooth pool surface.
