So far, I am loving my new Polaris P825!
We bought a house with our first pool about nine months ago. We bought a new Polaris unit a week later. It works like a charm. We run it once a day. The basket is really easy and quick to clean. We occasionally get super-fine silt when we run our pool heater, so we also bought one of the super-fine mesh baskets. We switch the baskets back and forth as needed. Our pool is very clean. 98% solution to my dirty pool, doesn't always feel like climbing up to shallow end, but to be fair the other cleaner rarely went up there.

A suggestion that may help the cleaner climb to the shallow end is to position the cleaner caddy and control unit as near to the center of the length of the pool as possible (always 5 feet away from the edge). The Polaris P825 pool cleaner is the third and by far the best pool cleaner I've had. Previous models include the Creepy Crawly and then the Dolphin robotic cleaner. But the P825 is well engineered and much easier to use and clean after each use. The included caddy is also a nice addition. I'm glad I bought the P825 which should continue to provide good service for several years.

It does a pretty good job. Belts come off from time to time. Over all I am happy with my purchase. Leslie's in Nederland has excellent service! Very happy with them.
