The Polaris 280 works as well as expected.
The first 280 we got when the pool was built. It was a workhorse! I was very happy with how well it kept the pool clean and it did a great job for 16 years. When it came time to replace it, of course I bought another 280!
Keeps the pool clean and doesn't kink the hose.
Easy and I have a clean pool!!!!

I had my first Polaris 280 for about 14 years and it’s a work horse. Worked great bad very easy to maintain. We remodeled our pool and upgraded, so we thought, to a robotic Polaris. We recently build. New house and pool and we went back to the 280. The robotic was expensive to maintain and we had more problems in 3 years than we did in 14 with the 280. The 280 wasn’t installed correctly but now that we have that corrected the new 280 works great. Highly recommend!
Bought a new Polaris 280 to replace a 15+ year old Polaris unit that came with pool when we bought a new home. Very pleased with the quality and performance of the new 280!
