Great pool cleaner, our first one lasted over 20 years. Great customer service from PoolSupplyWorld.com, only complaint is the lack of detailed instructions. No manual was included, only quick set up instructions which were incomplete and confusing. I had to go to 2 different web sights to research how to cut and adjust hoses. Each sight had PDF manuals available however, they were slightly different methods. This is not a product that in most cases can just e dropped in the water and turned on
Excellent equipment. Last one was good for almost 20 years before it finally died.
The 280 works great except when it hits the steps and tends to stick and the backup is sometimes not strong enough to pull it free. Other than that it works great.
It works pretty well. However, it cannot be left without being checked on. It has a spot it just loves to get hung up on and no matter how I adjust it, it keeps happening. IF it doesn't rain and put a bunch of debris in the pool, when away from home, it sometimes tolerates us being away from home three or four days. We've affectionately named it 'Aunt Eleanore,' after a very cantankerous aunt.
This is our 3rd 280 since opening our pool over 20 years ago. Would never consider anything different the unit works so well.

This was our second Polaris. It was a replacement to one that was with the house when I bought it over 9 years ago! Not sure how old it was but worked like a charm.
Works great . Keeps our pool very clean and we have an overly large pool.
