Mostly trouble free. Cleans well. I wish the parts were a bit more economical and longer lived. Good cleaner.
A workhorse.
We are surrounded by oak trees. Our new Polaris 280 does a great job of cleaning leaves off of the bottom of our pool. It saves a lot of work. 18' x 32' pool. Good coverage and moves flawlessly through the water.
Good pressure side cleaner for the money! Now with the pb4-sq system is way quieter!
Great little cleaner. it is plastic so they do break every few years, Wish parts weren't so expensive for them. these have become a throw away cleaner since the new purchase price is the price of a back up valve, wall connector and bag at the pool store almost.

The machine itself works great, we are just having issues keeping the hose from curling up and not allowing the cleaner to move around the pool freely.
I’ve only had it for two weeks but at this point, I love it and it does the job.
