Garbage Garbage. Fails to adequately clean the pool and requires constant babysitting to prevent it from getting stuck. I actually shut it off and went back to hand vacuuming. It is far easier and more efficient.

New Polaris This is my 3rd unit in 30 years. All have been Polaris cleaners. This newest one works the better than the others. I considered other cleaners, but decided to go with what has worked for me. I'm not disappointed.

Tail gets stuck in wheels. The tail gets stuck in the wheels on almost a daily basis. When this happens, the polaris can't maneuver properly and the pool doesn't get clean. I will try some adjustments on the tail and update my review if I find a solution.
Very Effective Pool Vacuum The Polaris 280 does a great job of cleaning our 32,000 gallon pool. This was a direct replacement for our original 280 which was installed when we built our saltwater pool in 2011. So, it had a pretty good life. I replaced one wheel on the original 280 a year ago with parts found on Amazon, but this season the bottom plastic base unit broke off and it wasn't worth repairing.
