Although there are "newer" models.....the 280 is still the best! You put it in your pool and it functions as intended flawlessly. I've had three pools with other devices. The Polaris 280 is the BEST!!!!!

A workhorse.
We are surrounded by oak trees. Our new Polaris 280 does a great job of cleaning leaves off of the bottom of our pool. It saves a lot of work. 18' x 32' pool. Good coverage and moves flawlessly through the water.
