I have been coming here for years to get my hair done, and slowly over the years the customer service and lack thereof has become SO bad. On 5/7 I had a huge event. It wasn't just a date or getting my hair done for fun-but something I had booked months in advance and made sure they knew how important this was. My apt was supposed to be at 3. I scheduled my makeup services out weeks in advance for a wedding. The morning of, I received a text message from the salon telling me my stylist was unexpectedly unable to keep the appointment. I understand that things happen but the salon made no effort to make it right. The fact that I got a text message instead of a call so someone could actually apologize to me is ridiculous. Chris is the best and my favorite stylist here at Primp and Blow. He has such a fun and vibrant personality that just lights up the room. I always have so much fun talking to him. He is such a kind and open person. Plus, he will make your hair look gorgeous, and feel super clean and fresh! I wish I could request him as my stylist online - I've just gotten lucky that I've had him twice. The manager here, Chloe, is so unprofessional! I made a reservation a week in advance and hours before she calls to tell me that I either need to come in later or they can't do it. Highly recommend that you find another place to spend your money!

I had an AWFUL experience. I scheduled an appointment to get my hair done for my WEDDING over two weeks before. Scheduled 4/26 for 5/13 at 11:30. I call the morning before to see if I should wash my hair, or if they would do it. The girl had me on hold for 5 minutes while she checked. She came back on and said she didn't know and they would give me a call back. Ok. Weird, but ok. So I get a call back an hour or so later. The woman on the phone asked me if I could come in later. I came here for a blowout and full face makeup recently and have to say that this was such an absolutely wonderful experience! Service 5/5 - temperatures were taken, masks were worn by everyone in the salon and all appointments were prompt. Blowout 5/5 - I had Sydney doing my hair and she is a true hair magician! Primp & Blow is my go to for all my glammed up needs! They've done my hair and makeup for every special event for the last 2 years. I've used them for holiday parties, family pictures, and most recently Kansas City Fashion Week. They are so sweet, always give me the exact look I'm needing, and the price is right!
