Well hot damn I have a new addiction. I have very thick course curly hair... And it takes about 45 minutes for me to dry it on my own. I saw the blow out salon was offering a Yelp deal and I had a rehearsal dinner, so I thought why not. I love that you can book your appointment online. My appointment started immediately on time. My stylist was kind and asked what I was looking for. She did a great job. I'll be back for my luscious locks sake!!

Friendly staff, cute shop, and fantastic results! I decided to try this place out since they were having a spring break special ($25 blow-outs). It was my first blow out and I didn't know how things would turn out. I was put in the hands of Kelley who did a great job. When asked what I wanted, I was a bit like a deer in headlights and didn't have an answer. She was easy to talk to though and asked questions to get a feel for what I might like. I love Primp and Blow I came in after another hair salon caused heat damage on my hair and I saw Jessica I have extremely curly ethnic hair and she gave me an awesome Shu Emira hair masque and a blowout and it came out amazing she is definitely who I will be asking for the next time I come. She also showed a real great knowledge of curly hair!

Love the blow outs here! I have tried several other salons that offer blow outs, I have very curly hair and noone has been successful in giving me a proper blow out until I tried Primp and Blow! They know what they are doing!

Love this place but sometimes it's a hit or miss with a stylist. So far I've found 1 amazing stylist that does consistently great blowouts. The rest have either left my hair semi-damp, too heavy with product or too flat. I love the convenience of being able to walk in (most times) and get a blowout in 30-45min. BUT I do wish they opened a bit earlier on Sundays!
YAY for Primp and Blow! Found them via a Groupon notification on Facebook, and I'm so glad I did. I didn't know they were in Prairie Fire! It's a convenient location for me, as I live in southern Johnson County, but it's also convenient for anyone, really. Just a few minutes east of 69 Hwy on 135th Street, or west of State Line, if you're coming in from MO. I was lucky enough to have Kelley as my stylist...what a great girl! Primp and Blow was exactly what I was hoping for ... I felt relaxed and pampered during the service, and walked out looking & feeling great! My style was natural, but way better and longer-lasting than if I'd blown it out myself. I'll definitely be returning!

I am a African American woman with naturally loose wavy hair, similar to that of hispanic hair texture. I had washed & blew dried my hair earlier but didn't feel like feel like flat ironing it because it's so thick. I have for greater part of my life went to Caucasian stylists/blow dry bars so I figured this would be perfect since it was in area I was doing my shopping. although the services provided at this salon are very good, the surprise on my credit card was not!!! you are required to give a cc# upon booking your appointment. that is suppose to be cancelled upon checking in. 3 days later a charge appeared on my cc for the price of my blow dry. I had used a Groupon upon checking out and was told there was no charge. I did not give them a cc at check out and left a cash tip. Please watch your account!!
