Very weak display in window, have to tilt it to see any display. Tested new AA alkaline batteries @1.62 V - 1.64 V ea. still VERY WEAK. Am returning it.
Bought it today. Set it up and hit the power button. Couldn't see anything on display, got new batteries, no luck, used AC adapter from another P-touch still nothing. Started tilting it to see if that would help ,it did somewhat but with fresh battery or a/c, display should be brighter.
From Brother's support site: "Some of our customers notice that there’s a small blank space before the words print out on their label. This is actually the physical distance from the print head on the machine to the cutter blade and the distance is approximately an inch (slightly different depending on the model)." I've set the margin to Narrow but keep in mind that this is in addition to the inch of left margin.
