I bought this style because of so many good reviews. Unfortunately like another lady's review mine also drains batteries after printing one label. I wish it had a cord or didn't waste batteries because the functions are great and lable was very cute with the leaf frame.
Purchased less than a month ago. I have used it 3 times and have problems each time. When I first opened it to use it I put 4 brand new batteries in it and it kept displaying "low battery" and shutting off mid print. Second time I put 4 more, new batteries (same brand of batteries as the first time) again, "low battery". I took all 8 batteries and put them onto my battery tester - all 8 full (as they should be because they're brand new). Third time trying was tonight. I put 4 more BRAND NEW batteries, fresh out of the packag... read more
This product is garbage. The same"low battery" problem others described. It says low battery the first time used with fresh batteries. Replaced batteries and now unit won't print anymore. Shuts off. I used it to print about 3 labels, and it is useless now. Returning ASAP.n Don't believe the reviews of those that received it for free...
Printed three - one word labels and says LOW BATTERY. Replaced batteries with new. 4 labels and Low Battery. Replaced batteries again....printed 3 characters and LOW BATTERY. Called Brother, they are sending me batteries to try before they warranty it. Total crap
Bought this label at Walmart today for daughters to print labels for school. After doing all settings and ready to print, I pressed PRINT it said Low Battery and turn off. Then I changed 4 new AA batteries, it happened again... I have to return it.
We were pleased with this product aside from the battery problem. After purchasing this product and printing the first label, it showed "Low battery". I changed the batteries thinking that maybe those batteries were sitting around for a while and were weak. After putting in the second set of batteries and printing another label, it showed "Low battery!" This is just one of those cool toys that you can think of so many uses for, but you know you want to just play with it! This one has an incredible amount of customization you can do with it. Symbols, little pictures (emojis for the smartphone users), font changing, two lines on the same label, it can do it all. Battery and cartridge replacement is super easy.
