Received this to try out. I always wanted one but never bought one. It was easy to unpack. I had 4 AAA Batteries to install. The label tape was already loaded. Instructions were easy to follow. I made labels for all of my business envelopes. It was fast, they look good, and best of all they were easy to make. I am very pleased with the quality and the looks of this unit. I give it a 5 star rating. I would recommend this to anyone.
I received this as part of the Wal-Mart Spark review program. This is a very nice label maker and it comes with a bag to hold the unit and extra paper cartridges. The labels that it makes are really nice. You can make them in different size and style fonts. You can also add little symbols to your labels. You must use alkaline batteries in this. I've been needing a way to get things organized for some time. This PT-45 brother labeler does the trick. It is useful for a great variety of home labeling uses, just type on the typewriter style keyboard, print, peel and stick it on whatever you need to label. The labeling backing peeler could stand improving but once a person gets the hang of it, it's acceptable. A person can print up to 9 copies of each label without reentering information. I will be using the brother P-touch label maker for mostly my consistent book scraping . This tape is made for it and drops right in after you remove the plastic and cardboard packaging. Makes great labels. The only thing that takes some getting used to is un-peeling the backing after you peel a label. You have to go one corner and use your fingertip to rub the corner back and forth until you can separate a little of the backing. I received my Ptouch label maker made by Brother and I am so happy with it, I have always wanted one but due to all the different ones on the market I never knew which one to get. With being able to choose one in this Sparks review made my decision easy!!! This tiny gadget has so many cool features and as you can see the labels look so professional. This labeler comes with two sample tape cartridges and a user’s guide, as well as a storage bag. It is small enough to be hand held, but big enough to use easily. It has a QWERTY keyboard and has a DECO and Function buttons. There is an on/off button, but it will turn off automatically if no buttons are pressed after five minutes. It runs on four AA batteries. This Ptouch Brother PT45 Labeler is an awesome product. I have never seen a labeler that actually you can use to design great labels for your children's items, your own items, etc. You can underline, make bold, make borders, symbols and so much more. First lets start with the pros to this unit. It is small and easy to use. The Instructions are clear and very easy to follow. The cartridges load easily. It comes with two print cartridges. It took me less them 5 minutes to get up and printing. You can print one or two lines with it. What I love and my old label maker did not have this. It prints vertical labels. I love this.
