Extremely handy machine I've been extremely satisfied with this machine. It makes labeling items, cans, jars, and boxes a snap. I also label leftovers before freezing. Labels are not only clear and easy to apply, but they have excellent adhesion.

Needs back lighting. Big improvement over my last P-Touch (over 30 years old). I like the different forms and symbols. My only con is the lack of a back-lit display. As an older person its hard to see. Just a small LED would have solved the problem. At this price point, it should have been added.
Uses way too much tape As others have stated, this printer wastes a lot of tape when printing. Otherwise I would give it 5 starts. Glad there are generic cartridges that work with the printer to save money.
Family Tree Headliner I bought this to label hundreds of photos that I inherited and was wanting to save for family trees. This was for sure a great buy. People who have seen the albums have commented on how great is was to read who were in the older photos. My only complaint if you can call it that, is the amount of label that is wasted on feeding the tape when starting a new label each time. I solved this somewhat by just spacing enough to separate the text and hand cutting after printing. Thanks
Great label maker This was a replacement for an old label maker & so was easy to learn. It provided perfect labels for my sewing/craft room that even my 8yo grandchildren could use.
So much better than my other Brother POS I finally got sick of my other P-Touch refusing to work due to weak batteries and low voltage. New batteries and still low voltage. Seems more like it had a design defect. So out it went and in came this one. This one does take wide and narrow tapes (font size adjusts automatically too) and has more features and no b-itching about its batteries which are four vs. two in the old one. It this one also has a wall adapter so can be used without batteries, I guess.
Has more than what I needed, but have enjoyed using it! Had no dislikes about this product. I am labeling plastic containers for my rubber stamps! Very handy item.
