It gets the job done but at a cost It’s a great printer that can use various size labels and has a lot of preset options and customizations. However, it burns through batteries (6AA at a time) and wastes an inch of label material per print. In short, works great but wastes a lot
Easy to use This printer is super easy to use. Definitely should have came with a screen protector. Would recommend!! I did not purchase the brother labels, I purchased a different brand & it worked well with it.
Eazt To Use and Great Accy My 35 year old Brother Label Maker died! I bought this. It is very eazy to use. My only complaint is that the tape does not adhere well to many surfaces. I still would buy!
Almost 5 stars Only complaint is that it wastes label tape by having too much leader before and after actual print. I have to believe this is intentional to sell more label cartridges.

REPLACED MY VERY OLD BROTHER PTOUCH I was looking to replace my very old Brother PTouch label maker that was a work horse for me. Happy to say this model does not disappoint. I like that it can make a much larger type label and the ribbon feature is handy for when making gifts and you want to personalize your ribbon. Very nice feature. Loisey LCD screen Fairly easy to learn but the LCD screen could be larger and back lit. It is very hard to see even if you increase the contrast to the max. Also some reflection on the screen...
It's nice, but still waste tape. I give it a 3 star because of the amount of Battery needed to operate it. You need 6 x AA Battery. Good thing this product comes with an AC adapter. Like other reviews stated, the amount of wasted tape is true. Before your print comes out, there is about 1" of tape before and after your print that is wasted. You can make changes in the settings everytime you change what you want to print. You have to change the setting to "narrow" and it will save the 1" tape at the end of your Print, but the... read more
