I loved New Year’s Eve at the Redeye grill. My husband, brother in law and I had planned to go for 2022/2023 as part of our trip over from the UK. I was worried before hand that it would not be worth the money but I was very wrong. The entertainment was fantastic, as was the service. Had dinner for my son’s 10 birthday after a show. Gorgeous restaurant. Started with the dancing shrimp, cool presentation but was quite disappointed with taste. Would have eaten the heads of they didn’t have the shells. Once I began removing the heads all the breading fell off and there was very little, overcooked meat for an astronomical price. The rest of the food was very good, sushi rolls, chicken paillard, onion rings were tasty. Drinks are pricey but tasty. Will return but will skip their signature dish.

The fire alarm, which is deafening, triggered twice during our stay. Nobody came to apologize. We had to ask for a compensation, which ended with two coffees that were on the house.
We were there for NYs Eve which I am sure is a whole different ballgame. The food was delicious except for the dessert (which they did allow us to take to go). The cheesecake was so-so and the bananas in the banana cream pie were starting to brown- but I know from making it myself that can be difficult to avoid. The shrip cocktail were fresh.
