7/19/2019: We were there for dinner on Friday night. The food, service, and staff were all fantastic. I had the scallops and they were wonderful. My husband & son both had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with Shrimp and they raved about it. My husband and I both had the Heirloom Tomato & watermelon salad and it was terrific very different. We visited the third day after the Redeye Grill reopened after a fire last year. I would call before you go if you are interested in the Seafood Towers and Sushi. These were not available yet when we went. Very disappointing. We travel to New York once or twice a year have usually made Redeye Grill one of our stops. Needless to say if it wasn't for Rene our server we might reconsider this being a place at the top of our list. My petite dover sole was great, but my husbands rib eye sandwich chewy.
Very attentive, good service considering ONE WEEK OPENING. Decor has not changed , good menu items, good wine list. Little warm , but its July and heat wave. I would go back again and again.
1st time back since they reopened, food and service is still outstanding.
I thought the prices were outrageous but it's close to times square and across the street from Carnegie Hall, of course prices will be crazy. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were big!! We loved it!!

I had dinner here after completing the NYC marathon and let me tell you the food was excellent. I will definitely be going back.
One of my favorite places to eat. Everything from romantic dinners to birthday parties. The food is always excellent and the wait staff and super friendly.
This query is not appropriate. Our reservation n many others had to be cancelled due to a kitchen fire the week prior. We were looking forward to taking a large group there. Looking forward to when they reopen.
