It's so wonderful to have Redeye Grill back. It's better than ever. The room is gorgeous and the food and service are terrific. I had the nice green salad, the scallops and the banana cream pie for dessert. A perfect meal and a perfect evening.
Today’s breakfast was exceptional! We thank you for the professional, engaging and friendly service. The food was out of this world! The mimosas were DYNAMITE!! A+
Sadly, while we were very excited to know that Redeye had reopened the food was no where near as good as it used to be. Neither of our meals was very good. Also, unlike many restaurants that made modifications to the recipes to adjust for gluten and dairy allergies, they merely with held the sauce so that the salmon was a bit dry and fairly tasteless. My dining partner has the crab cakes and they were also a disappointment.

I’ve eaten at the red eye grill twice in the past month and enjoyed it both times. I had the crab cake with corn and shrimp the last time I was there and loved it!! I’d like to mention also our waiter was so good! He was entertaining as well as extremely efficient! I will return!
Glad REG has reopened. It looks great, service wonderful. The hostess lovely and made us feel welcomed back. We live a block away and will be back often. Love the food too!
This restaurant has been one of my NYC faves for a long time. Hadn’t been since the reopening, but was happy to see they are still offering top notch service and amazing food.
