My favorite restaurant not just in NYC but globally! Can’t beat the excellent food quality, portions, flavor and above all, a level of service that only a family owned restaurant can deliver. Please open an LA or Vegas location! We need your Jewish Mashed Potatoes on the west coast!
We went for Thanksgiving dinner since my daughter and I were in NY for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a wonderful experience. Our server, Alton, was excellent. I ordered from the Prix Fixe menu for the Thanksgiving meal, and my daughter ordered from their regular dinner menu. The Thanksgiving meal was perfect. And my daughters meal was great as well. The atmosphere was awesome, festive, decorated for the holidays and there live music. This was one of our best evenings in the city. Highly recommend!
The Redeye has always been a favorite! We walked in 28 minutes late and they had held our table and greeted us with a warm smile on a cold blustery night. The host was so friendly and the servers were excellent. We still made it on time for our show! The food was delicious and their price fix meal so reasonable! Highly recommend for a special occasion or any night out in New York!

Been to this restaurant twice. The first occasion was far better than this visit. My wife and I went there to celebrate her birthday before seeing the Alvin Ailey performance. The hostess seated us in a place that we could not be seen and her choice was in no way romantic. I told the host that I had reservations and she said this will do for the two of you. I am not complaining about being seen but about the way in which we felt we were treated. We felt like the restaurant didn’t want us seen when other guest entered.
