the ambiance was wonderful and the food and music was great.
Great location - atmosphere is high energy and very comfortable. Host was friendly as was the waiter though service was lackluster - food our table of 4 did not come out at the same time - it wasn't all that busy - yet just getting drinks took a very long time. The food was good but over priced for that level of quality. Worth stopping by if in the area but not that memorable.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions when visiting NYC from London. Food excellent with a varied menu enabling no worries when it comes to individual likes and dislikes. Food fresh and tasty. Visited with two business colleagues and there were no worries about choice or service.
Love this place. Live music, good vibe and several good vegetarian options as well. Everything is good. Really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts
We needed a last-minute venue for dinner before a play and decided to give the Redeye Grill a shot. Glad we did as we had one of the best meals during our stay in NYC during the Thanksgiving holiday. Definitely, try their take on Clam Chowder. You won't be disappointed. We also found the Three-Bone Short Rib Steak entree one of the best we've ever had. Will definitely repeat a visit to this restaurant when visiting NYC in the future.
Read previous reviews and decided to try Redeye Grill. We had a great time and I loved the individual seafood platter! It had Ahi Shoyu poke, (2) oysters, (2)colossal cocktail shrimps, (6) mussels and 1/2 a main lobster, all for $38! I thought it was a great variety seafood platter at a great price.
