Too noisy for conversation. Jazz ensemble were fine if acoustics did not amplify the sound to make intrusive. Food is good but pricey for what you get.
Redeye Grill is across 7th Ave from Carnegie Hall, and on the edge of the theater district, so well located for before the show dining. Very comprehensive menu with lots of seafood options plus raw bar, steaks, sushi, and more. Price fixe menu is a good value, going a la carte can get pricy. Quiet early in the eve, noise level goes up when the singer and pianist in the bar area start playing and the place fills up, but can still converse.
Always great food and service. The pre fix lunch is an excellent value!
First time here but not my last, LOVED this place. Had a wonderful sophisticated ambiance, vibrant, great service, food was divine and creative. Loved the lobster mac/cheese, not what you think -- delicious and tons of lobster, the brussel sprouts with cashews was divine, the salad were creative and delicious (beet salad), truly recommend it. Wide variety of menu choices, all delicious.

Love this restaurant. Thanks to the staff and GM for making it a night to remember for our Anniversary!💕 Would like to see them bring back the Lobster Pot Pie...was a favorite that they took off the menu but dinner was still AMAZING! Thanks again, we had a great night! 😘
