Enjoyed the piano player. Staff was very friendly. My miso crusted cod was heavy on the miso. I could not taste the fish. My wife's chicken was good but a little plain. On the positive side my chopped salad was very good. I had a specialty cocktail; the size of the drink was very generous. Overall - a little pricey.
Very nice Albeit overpriced for turkey, Thanksgiving dinner. Live music a plus!!
As usual food was great and service even better
Excellent service and food. The menu has a great variety of choices. The live piano singer was very enjoyable. Our teenager daughter and her friend also loved the restaurant.
Visited early seating mid-week. Creative menu...mix of styles and comfort selections.
Beautiful setting. Great service. Excellent food. Went for a Sunday brunch on a last minute whim and was pleasantly surprised.
It is always a pleasure to dine here- the staff is so kind to "Grandpa" who has serious mobility issues- and very nice to all of us - and the food is delicious and beautifully presented, quite ample and many choices. The setting is beautiful and comfortable- the live music is great- and it is sooooo convenient to Carnegie Hall!! Thank you again!
We wanted to try this restaurant because of it's proximity to Carnegie Hall. We had an early reservation and looked forward to a relaxing meal with friends before the performance. We ordered the pre-fix dinner and everyone was pleased with their choice of appetizer and agreed that the Calamari was particularly good. Unfortunately, after the appetizers were served. we were forgotten. The entrees did not arrive until 7:40. Redeye Grill was highly recommended, so I had to check it out. Conveniently located near Columbus Circle and Central Park, it was an easy walk from my hotel. I was immediately seated by a very cordial host. Live music added to what was a lively group of patrons - great energy throughout. I feasted on the Brussels sprouts and tuna poke - paired nicely with a classic "Redeye" vodka martini. I sat back and enjoyed watching people and listening to the piano and vocalists.
