It's amazing place for a romantic date. Piano. Oy and a singer are great! Food is fantastic. Seabass, seared tuna, yellowtail susimi and brussel sprouts it's something I would definitely recommend. Very nice service. It's a little bit pricey place but it's definitely worth it.

as a new yorker, this is overpriced - and meant for tourists who go to carnegie hall and city center. but it suited us to meet here pre-concert with an out of town friend. i just felt the price point was higher than it should be. service was tight and they were on top of their game. i had crab cakes and they were very good and the accompanying shrimp were grilled but tender.
We had a lovely meal here. My Caesar salad was outstanding - one of the best I have had, although I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered the optional anchovies as they had been left off. My husband's steak was very good, although not as "black and blue" as he had hoped for. Overall, a very good meal.
Our entire night here was fantastic. The food was truly exceptional - a note of caution, the sides are VERY large! Don't over-order, but do order the mashed potatoes because they are to die for. The ambience was brilliant, with the excellent live musician adding a extra dimension that we all loved. It was the birthday of one of our party, and the staff surprised us at the end of the night with strawberry cotton candy, champagne, and a birthday song! Kumamoto oysters were exceptional but Chilean sea bass was overcooked. Haricots verts au point but untrimmed. So a mixed review.
Our server was attentive and very accommodating. We asked for several items to be adapted to be vegetarian and there was no problem. The seafood is DELICIOUS. The brussels sprouts are incredible. So many options for every kind of eater.
This was our second visit to Redeye. The first time was great. However, on this busy theater night, service was less than desirable and the seared salmon dish that I ordered was undercooked.
