We were looking for a good restaurant in the neighborhood for a friend who requested seafood/fish for his birthday dinner. I hadn't been at Red Eye Grill in quite some time as price wise it's a bit out of our league other than for special occasions. Our friend lives in the village and had never been there. He had some food restrictions which were met with the diverse menu. And you can't beat the chocolate waiting for you at the front desk...before AND after the meal. The wait staff was very thoughtful and kind as well.
I had a good dinner with my family. The food was good and the service was very warm.
Prix fix meal was excellent with Chilean sea bass being the highlight. Good wine choice and not over the top for NY
We had a great waiter/server who made this dinner a great event with my friends from out of town. Food was great, wine was good picks and dessert was delicious. Great service made everything better.
Totally welcoming, friendly, professional experience. We went in for a drink one night and everyone was so friendly. We looked at the menu, asked some questions and decided to return the next night. We were greeted warmly and complimentary Prosecco was sent to our party. Ken is an awesome server. We can't say enough good things about this place.
It was perfect for our occasion ! We sat at the bar, bartender was very professional, kind and friendly. Then we moved to a table in the window, quiet but open. Close enough to the bar to hear the live music, which was great! Very romantic and perfect for our anniversary . It was a great place to grab dinner. We had the set priced dinner and it was worth it! Service was great, and the live music was nice touch. Only down, if you're looking for something more cozy or romantic this is probably not the place. You do sit quiet close to other people, and with live music it is moderately loud. But if you don't mind it, the ambiance is quiet enjoyable!
Food was superb! Timely, tasty, and well presented
After 10 years of not being able to get to NYC it was great to know that this place is still there! The setup is fantastic, the food is great and the live entertainment did not disappoint.
