always great service, up beat fun atmosphere (for families and probably for others, too, just not ultra hip)...close to theater and city center, but not overrun with theater traffic...just walk a few blocks! not cheap, however, but food is consistently great.
We were greeted warmly...even with our nine year old grandson as the third member of our party and led to a table with a view of Seventh Avenue...just the ticket for our nine year old. Our waiter was helpful and efficient and when my Dover sole was delivered with a side of spinach rather than the promised asparagus he went back to the kitchen and returned with asparagus! The final touch...cotton candy for our grandson. All of this just across the street from Carnegie Hall. We'll be back.
Redeye Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. Food is always good, service is outstanding and the ambiance is very nice. The desserts are great, especially the banana cream pie, which is my husband's favorite.
Very crowded and noisy, not a relaxing meal but the food was good.
A great way to start our NY trip. We had brunch on Easter Sunday and it was wonderful. The service was slow but since we were in no hurry it did not matter. The food was really good and I would say the price was comparable to any other NY eatery.
Our relatives were very late coming in from Long Island due to traffic. We were accommodated & it was appreciated.
We live in the city and like when there is a good resturant, that can accomadate all size tables, we were 6 and very comfy. We have been there before and it is just as good each time we go. It was my daughters birthday and it was also Easter Sunday. They had a regular menu and that made it even better. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside on the terrace, wonderful! Food is very good, great for brunch, lunch or dinner. We will return!
Great, lively atmosphere. Excellent wait staff, cheery Maitre D'. Honored our request for a nice table for a birthday dinner. Highly recommended.
Recommended by a NYC relative. Agreed with his choice; excellent menu/reasonable prices, particularly for NYC. Found an item I had never seen before--Peking Duck Quesidilla(spl??); wonderful taste-overwhelming quantity, particularly for a appetizer.
