We were a group with a baby, and we were greeted warmly and everyone was very helpful and courteous. The food is always good and fresh, and the room is very comfortable and pleasant.
Bit upset they called themselves "Kid Friendly" - when asked for anything our kids, and our guests' could have, waiter shrugged his shoulders. In the end, $9 mac & cheese $7 OJ, and $15 bowls of ice cream turned what should have been a $250 bill, tops into a $476 bill. Realize it wasn't the best place to take 4 kids 3 thru 10 years old - but I called and was assured kids would be fine there. I pay that much out w/my guy buddies at Sparks & 3 bottles of wine. RedEye prices should be 30% less for what it is.
Good ambiance and atmosphere but more of a tourist trap than a local foodie destination. Prices about 25% higher than comparable. Wine list is limited and 4 times retail instead of the 3x norm.
The food here is great and i've never experienced bad service. Their guccomoli and chilean seabass are amazing. And they have a custom of service free specialty items such as cookies or biscuits (hot out of the oven) for diners to try. I would definitely recommend.
Our food was excellent and we were impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff.
Great service and wonderful food....
I've been to Redeye Grill on numerous occasions, service always great and food excellent. My husband had the Scotch eggs bene and he said they were the best he'd ever had! My son loved the Pecan french toast and I had the Crabmeat salad, very yummy. The bread basket is always a treat.
On the pricey side, but great food and great service from entire staff, not just our server.
Located near City Center and Carnegie Hall, this lovely, art decorated restaurant has it all... great food, great service and a truly fun atmosphere. And, imagine miso matzo ball soup as well as great fish and salads. As we left this past Sunday, we were each treated with a brown bag - filled with a sampling of wonderful cakes. What a delightful way to continue the ambience...
