One of my all-time favorite restaurants in NYC. Could not be more delicious or more fun -- every visit has been absolutely flawless.
Went for dinner on a Friday night. Food was very good, service was prompt and friendly. Their signature dessert is homemade banana cream pie - highly recommend trying it!
A large and diverse menu. The food was great, if a hair pricey, but it's midtown, so it's not out of line by any means. Now, if they can master getting everyone's food to the table at the same time, then this place will really be something special. Granted, we were a party of two and it's nearly impossible to figure out how to get two entire dishes completed and delivered at the same time. Average or slightly better-than-average as a pre-Carnegie-Hall dining spot. Food good, service brisk. Very loud - hard to have a conversation.
