I love taking clients to this place. Seafood is great and love their Matzo-ball Miso soup. highly recommend this place!!
We enjoyed our experience at the Redeye grill. There wasn't one thing we didn't like about our table, the meal or the service. We will definitely go back.
This was one of the most enjoyable restaurants we've been to in New York. The only diappointment was the Jazz band that they still advertise has not played in two years according to the wait staff.
Several friends and I went for dinner prior to a show at City Center. Restaurant Week was still going on, so we all ordered from the special menu. One person had New England clam chowder as a start. This was deemed ok. I had tomato and onions with rocquefort dressing--minus the onions. The other person also had the same satrter but with different dressing. Neither of us was impressed. Food was delicious! Service-impeccable... Justin Perez was a terrific waiter his knowledge of menu and wine list was flawless and helpful; his recommendations were right on! We will come again!
This was the best dining experience I had in NY on this trip, everyone went out of thier way to make sure my friends first trip to NY was very special. Food, service, and atmosphere was clearly outstanding.
We visited the Red Eye grill on Valentines day. While not the romantic quiet place you think of for that holiday, we found the ambiance to be very enjoyable. The food was excellent and nicely presented. The service was attentive and not intrusive. Location is excellent and within walking distance of theaters including Carnegie Hall which is just across the street. The prices are moderately expensive but worth the price.
We had a wonderful time. It was Valentine's day but we were a group of 6 people for a college reunion. The wait-staff was great and very attentive making us feel welcome even on such a special "couple's day." The decorations for Valentine's day were fabulous...it was definitely a great atmosphere. And after we ordered dessert, more kept coming compliments of the chef for the holiday... Yum!
It was great... the tables though are to close from each other and there is no feeling of privacy.
