The food was great, served in a timely fashion. The place is large windows shows a really nice view of 56st and 7th ave. A little costly so be prepared to pay a little more but was well worth it all
It is great. The food was delicious.
We had a wonderful dining experience. Our group was from Pennsylvania and we have been to this restaurant many times before. The food is always wonderful and the service was especially excellent this time around, we couldn't of had a better server. We did have the opportunity to come early and sit at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and served up some fantastic beverages. Once again, great dining experience and we will be back for more in the fall.
"Special" cocktails great. Food was excellent. Service was very good as well. Will definintely recommend this restaurant and will go back for sure.
The hostess responsible for seating took more minutes than necessary to decide where to seat us: a first. Then we were ignored by the waiter for five minutes; not even water was offered. Finally, though, everything got straight and the food was fine.
I liked it enough to plan to return. Our hope is it was just the waiter that made this trip so disappointing. No description of menu,no offer for drinks before dinner except"water?". when he came back to the table after an eternity, he asks what would you like?" so we start to order our food. He stops us and says I meant drinks! Then goes right to table next to us and takes drink and! food order! That may have been a blessing in disguise because they never got there food until we finished our apps, dinner and dessert! crazy! ... read more
We had a 6:30 reservation for 4 for a Saturday night. Although the restaurant was crowded, we were immediately seated. When we told our waiter we had 8:00 theater tickets, he made sure that we received prompt service and recommended dishes (per our request) that would be out quickly. The food was delicious and we loved the "feel" of the restaurant. Overall a great experience.
My teenage daughter and I ate at Red Eye after seeing "Wicked." We'd been once before to eat there and remembered we liked it. This time it was very crowded and rather loud, but not horribly so - we had a nice table by the window. We greatly enjoyed the Crispy Shrimp Roll, the Red Roof Roll, and the crabcakes/jumbo shrimp entree (sharing everything). I enjoyed a Margarita Fresa before dinner, and we shared the Cheesecake with Creme Brulee Topping for dessert (truly decadent & outstanding). Although the portions were not huge... read more
Our table had to be moved because of wind and cold ari every time door to outside dining area was open (so did other people's tables too), but then it wasn't far enough away, as we were all still cold in the section we were seated in. VERRRY noisy place, not conducive to romantic night out. Tables for 2 im my section were the closest I've ever seen, maybe 1 1/2 inches apart. Food was good, but not outrageous. Location is great for show @ Carnegie Hall or CIty Center.
