I've been looking for a great barbershop in Round Rock for quite some time. I tested other places out, and while I liked some of them, they weren't exactly what I was looking for. Finally, I found it! Retro Barbershop has what you're looking for in a barbershop. The owner, Brian, cut my hair the past few times. He's awesome. Clean place, good mellow music, and the dude Brian is super nice. Can confirm the classic/contour and beard trim was 10/10. The only con is that is pretty expensive compared to other barbers in the area. I justify the cost considering I visit so infrequently, but it's the best cut in the area and worth it.
Retro is a clean and relaxing shop, and Brian P. did a great job with haircuts for my sons and me. We will definitely be going back, and are really glad to have found a friendly and talented barber in our neck of the woods. My haircut came out super clean, and I am having good results using some of the hair cream that I picked up from Retro. Thanks again BP.

Holy shit was this place ever so great! If you are ever skeptical about changing places to your like daily routine place for a haircut you need to change now! I use to go to the average hair salon, (cost cutters) and other places never really cared to much but holy shit this place was amazing. Now I did see a customer walk in and say how much and the price is 33$ for a haircut but let me tell you. Worth it. I love my hair so much and I've honestly never cared but now I do! I had gone here once before, and I had a nice conversation with the owner, and afterwards, I told him it was good but that I would like it a little less tapered in the back next time. I called today, which was 4 weeks later, to make a second appointment for myself for today, and this time I scheduled my son too (right after me). Then the creepiest thing happened. This place is awesome . The barber does a great job and is a super nice guy! I've gone there twice now and plan to make this my regular place. He even has a fridge stocked with soda, water and beer. The shop itself has a really nice retro vibe to it.
Amazing service! This was my first time coming to Retro and Brian did exactly what I wanted. I'm always afraid when going to a new barber but I am so glad I did. I'll be coming here from now on!
Great cut, nice guy, really clean shop. Happy to find a barber who knows how to cut hair and listen to what the customer wants. You'd think that'd be the default, but I've found it isn't. I'll certainly be back.
I came here earlier and made an appointment through Yelp. I'll get into my review. Coming in, I was amazed by how clean this shop was. It was very nice inside and out. Organized well with old school themed decor and some taxidermy around the corners. We got to see an open space where we can see others get their hair cut right in front of us.
