I have had a long beard for several years and only get it trimmed on occasion. Today was probably the best trim I have gotten to date. I told him what I wanted, including "don't touch the mustache" and he made some suggestions that I politely declined. He gave me exactly what I asked for, did a great job that wasn't rushed but didn't seem prolonged either. I will definitely be back every 6 weeks or so to keep it up.

I specially asked for a 1920's era haircut. What I ended up with was a buzz cut. I guess the 1950's are the new 1920's? Second time here. There won't be a third. A word of advice, listen to what your customer is asking for. Addendum: I was just contacted by Brian. I was not explicit enough in describing what type of hair cut I wanted. So he offered to fix it or next hair cut on the house. So in the end, I'll be back and give it another shot. Thanks for the phone call!

If you like you're hair longer on top, this guy isn't for you. Read through the reviews and you'll find similar experiences to mine. Loved the atmosphere of his shop but the quality of the cut and service was not at all good. I keep it long on top with a fade on the sides. He suggested a "refresh". DO NOT GO HERE!!! Told the guy I wanted just the sides taken down and maybe a 1/8" off the top. I look down and see 4" chunks of hair. He totally didn't listen and completely butchered my hair. My usual barber said there is nothing he can do but let it grow out and slowly shape it back to the way it was..... When I complained he said sorry here is your full price bill. What a total joke.

This guy gives good haircuts, so in the past I have been able to over look how incredibly rude he is. Today was the last straw. I scheduled 3 kids cuts (9,9 &11). The first one, he was told to just cut a tiny bit off the top, because my son is growing the top out. He cut at least an inch off. My second child got in the chair. I really wanted to like this shop but it's just not up to expectations. I'm into the 50's so I like a pompadour. I've been going to a barber shop in Austin but wanted something closer to home. Well gave it a second chance but not satisfied. I'm lopsided. The owner is very nice and friendly so I gave it 3 start. I was pulled into the retro old school description but I don't know he known this style. I wish him the best but I don't think rockabilly style is his nitch.

Came here today for the second time. This guy is awesome. I have never been more relaxed, I almost fell asleep. His precision is amazing . He takes the time to know what you'd like , make recommendations and does the eyebrows, sides face everything. Loved my haircut and the chilled atmosphere and the Damien Rice music. My new regular spot .

2nd time here. Great job on my beard both times. Its hard to find somebody to take the time for proper beard work. I will definitely be returning. May give the head shave a try next time.
