I went to EmergeOrtho for a second opinion regarding a meniscus tear because I was not happy with the appointment I had at another orthopedic office. Dr. Hallows was a thorough, answered my questions and suggested I could avoid surgery. I felt much more respected and heard than the previous practice.
Have had both hips replaced by Dr. Hallows. First outcome in 2022 was terrific so I followed him to Emerge when the other side started talking to me. Now 5 weeks out of surgery and so far so great. Entire team at EO superb from pre-surgery to day of surgery and now to PT. Highly recommend. rhs
This was my first visit. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He listened and explained what I was experiencing and what my options were. Very professional.
This was a follow-up visit following total knee replacement surgery. I have been struggling to get my knee to bend following the surgery and had a list of questions. Dr Hallows took time to answer all of my questions. He brought up the possibility of knee manipulation under sedation if my bending does not improve but also gave me some ideas on how to improve the bending and for pain management . I have a follow-up visit in a couple of weeks.
Took his time with me. Explained what was wrong, offered alternatives. Not in a rush.
Dr. Hallows is THE BEST! from our first appointment to my surgery, I knew I was in great hands. he was thorough in assessing my situation, provided helpful guidance & options during the 9 months before my surgery, & did an amazing job replacing my hip. the surgery was a big success, in & out in 5 hours! & 2 days later I felt fantastic & was already moving better than ever! Dr. Hallows did a hip replacement for me seven years ago. When my local Emergeortho P. A. recommended I see a knee surgeon, I elected to see Dr. Hallows again. He is very easy to talk to and spent time explaining the knee replacement process and answered all my questions.Base on great outcome on the hip replacement he did, I am proceeding with a knee replacement. The staff was great and got me scheduled and talked me through all the steps leading up to surgery. Very satisfied with the process.
Dr. Hallows is clearly a very excellent surgeon. He explains everything before surgery & answered all my questions. He assured me that although I am very well now, if that should change to call & he will see me. He is also a very nice man. He gave me my life back with his expertise & I am so very grateful to him for that!
Dr. Hallows is fantastic. He put me back together & improved my quality of life tremendously with hip replacement surgery. He and his team are attentive & at the top of their game. Do not hesitate going to Dr. Hallows for his expertise.
