I followed Dr Hallows from Duke to EmergeOrtho for my second hip replacement surgery. The second surgery was even more successful than the first and I had a very good outcome then. Dr Hallows spends as much time as needed explaining the process and answering questions. His professional experience and approach give me great confidence. I had a great experience. The only improvement I would recommend is with office staff following through with phone calls and contact. My experience in this area was not very good.
Excellent surgeon and physician. Worked with me to get state of the art hip hardware and I was up walking just a few hours after surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Hallows.
I went for a 2nd opinion about my hip replacement that I had back in 2022 by another orthopedic surgeon at a different facility. Dr. Hallows listened, is easy to talk to, was very patient with me and understood where my pain was actually coming from. It turns out that the nerve pain is coming from my back. After he examined my hip and we talked, I felt very comfortable with the info he gave me and made an appointment with a Spine Specialist at EmergeOrtho for the same week. Very pleased with Dr. Hallows.
Excellent surgeon giving me a knee revision. This was my 5th knee surgery and it was the best, due to robotic assistance, I surmise. He explained the unfamiliar techniques he used which I found very interesting and educational.

Dr. Hallows is an excellent surgeon. Within five months of each other, I had two hip replacements and the recovery was a breeze. It's not only the procedure but it's because of him being such a good surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Hallows and I have to many people who live here in Fearrington Village, Pittsboro.
