Rhett Hallows did a right hip replacement and made my right leg 1" longer than the left one. It caused severe pain in my ankles, knees, hips, and back. He even knew there was a problem and wouldn't fix it. Four months later, another doctor saw the anomaly, saw I was miserable, and performed a revision. I had to wear a plastic brace for 3 months. His poor treatment cost me 2 years of my life and the cost of another surgery to get back to normal. The difference for me would have been if he had addressed the issue and corrected... read more

Dr Hallows has ruined my hip and life. He replaced my right hip on 9/11/2019. He casually didn't give me any hip precautions. It dislocated first in October and then he finally gave me hip precautions. Nevertheless, the hip dislocated again a month later in November of 2019. Doctor prescribed my mother an NSAID when he knew she was on Lithium. This could have very well put her in the hospital with Lithium toxicity, and is baffling to me that he could make this first year medical student mistake. Staff was cavalier when I reported the issue and didn't even understand what the issue was, confusing it with liver toxicity. Stay away!

I had a hip replacement and acquired MRSA. Had to have a second surgery losing a liter of blood. Weeks of IV antibiotics. Dr Hallows did not call my family after either surgery to let them know I was in recovery and OK. I have never heard of a surgeon not contacting family post op.

Never go to this Dr! Dr Hallows put in a partial knee replacement and I continued to tell him I was in pain. After 6 months of pain and appointments he admitted he "might have put in off-center" Had to have a full knee revision to repair the knee.
