He was direct, yet charismatic. Surgical procedure went flawlessly on my partial knee replacement. The entire experience went as planned & his staff was nice & seemed to genuinely care! My recovery went quite well, actually a little ahead of both schedule and my expectations. The physical therapy was tough but really, really worked as I went at it with gusto and compliance. Expect some appropriate pain, but manageable and SO WORTH IT!
All staff were pleasant, appt went smoothly. Very impressed with Dr. Hallows, he made me feel comfortable and explained things clearly.
My wife has had two great surgical experiences with Dr Hallows and the entire surgical team at Southpoint Surgical Center. I would highly recommend them and if we have orthopedic needs in the future, this is where we will go.

Wonderful!! He was able to schedule the procedure on a very timely schedule. The smaller hospital made for a warm and friendly experience and the food was great! I was almost sorry to be discharged so quickly!! Absolutely no complaints! And he has a nice smile!!! If and when the other hip goes, he’ll be my first call!!!

I followed Dr Hallows from Duke to EmergeOrtho for my second hip replacement surgery. The second surgery was even more successful than the first and I had a very good outcome then. Dr Hallows spends as much time as needed explaining the process and answering questions. His professional experience and approach give me great confidence.
