Was very professional. Explained all that was going on and provided a RX too be filled. Also xray showed some abnormal shifting of the lower spine and recommended a spine DR.
I asked Dr. Hallows to look at my knee as I was having pain when walking. It was x-rayed & I was told to take ibuprofen to see if it would help, which it has. This has saved me from surgery, for now. Dr. Hallows is very compassionate & cares about the well being of his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. H was compassionate enough—on the high end of all my specialist dr appointments. The support staff was just incredible, though. I am a lot to deal with when in pain, and this herniated disc pain is the worst pain I have ever felt, and I am 45 years old. But the staff was sweet and accommodating. I appreciate the effort. Nice facility as well. My only suggestion to Dr. H is maybe be more open to non-traditional healers.
Dr. Hallows has been my orthopedic for many years. He is patient, professional, and an amazing surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their hips or knees.

Dr. Hallows and his team are awesome. My total hip replacement has left me doing the happy dance.
Easy to talk to ,answered all my questions . Unrushed visit . Robotic assisted surgery was rough first two weeks. Turned corner at 4 weeks ,walking normal and driving at 6.5 weeks. Some slight swelling and pain at 8 weeks . Follow up visit was great . He really knows his stuff. Their patient advocate called me every 10 days to answer concerns and make sure I had enough meds and knew what to do. Inwould use him again.
Dr. Hallows and staff, including PA Casey Clarke are outstanding orthopedic providers. If you are looking for a very competent and caring team for a knee or hip replacement, they are amazing. They are very thorough and extremely knowledgeable on the best techniques and pre and post op care. Duke is an amazing facility where you feel very fortunate to be receiving your medical and surgical care there. Can't thank them enough for my new joint and giving me my life back.
