Dining area too crowded. For the price of food, would expect a bit more room to maneuver in and out of seating area. Servers were very attentive.
My husband and I went to Ristorante Bartolotta's to celebrate my birthday. The December lunches are the best. I had an appetizer with Ribiola on a bed of butternut squash puree with wild mushrooms. Had I known how good it was going to be I would have had 2 appetizers and skipped the entree. That being said I had the short rib entree and it was outstanding. Food was phenomenal. Service was very attentive and extremely friendly. Only complain would have been seating us next to a loud party of guests celebrating was very distracting. However, they provided a very tasty free dessert for the inconvenience. So the fact that it was noticed was nice. Looking forward to my next time back.

We dined at Ristorante Bartolotta once before when traveling to Milwaukee, and consider it a top-choice destination. We were delighted to learn of special menu items containing Alba white truffles on our recent visit. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. The half-price wine bottles under $100 was a bonus. The food and service were great with one minor (as in 5%) exception; wish the vegetarian selection was more extensive and equally creative as the meat offerings. The sides for my pork (potatoes with mushroom sauce e.g.) would have been a great accompaniment to the vegetarian selection. Important as my wife is a vegetarian.
