Super ambiance and very thoughtful food presentation, along with great service make Ristorante Bartollotta a hit!
With the possible exception of Harbor House, this is the best Bartolotta restaurant in Milwaukee. We loved the atmosphere, and food and service were great. We were a party of four, and not one person in the party complained about anything. To the contrary, everyone enjoyed the dinner very much.
Nothing but the best,I ate like a true gangster and gentleman. Fillet cut was delectable.
My husband ordered the filet which he said was excellent. I ordered a pasta dish and was disappointed. Sounds silly, but it wasn't the pasta quills on the menu, but rotini instead. And it tasted about the same as a similar dish at Noodles. Plus, it came in something like a cereal bowl, which personally, was a poor presentation. Just wasn't impressed at all with the flavor. Ordered a caprese salad and again, nothing impressive and certainly not worth $9.50. Oh well. Probably won't go back.
Ristorante Bartolotta is an excellent venue for that special evening, fantastic food prepared and presented with an elegant flare that makes that special occasion even more special. Once seated my only challenge was in deciding which dishes and which wine to select. They had black truffles in house when we we're there, so we ordered a black truffle risotto of the table. Molto Bene!
Always delicious whatever you order and wine selection is perfect. We love the restaurant and going there often. The daily specials are surprising, tasty and great to try. The service is friendly and very accomodating. I certainly recommend this place.
Overall experience as exemplary. Outstanding attention to detail and entire staff are well trained in providing an exceptional experience. The verification of the reservation was well timed and the associate conveyed 'a smile over the phone'. We've been guests here practically since the day it opened and Bartolotta's never disappoints. The interior is cozy and romantic, but can get a little frenetic when full, as is the case with Valentine's Day which we made our traditional special place. They do have the best calamari anywhere, and the paparadelli with duck ragu is sublime.
