Our favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. Flavorful, unique dishes, excellent service and attention to detail. Good wine list. It's our go-to for our Anniversary dinner each year.
This is a great restaurant for that special night out. This was our second visit, first time for a birthday, second for an anniversary. We LOVE it. It's a small restaurant so book ahead but don't change your mind because the only reservations are after 8:30. We decided to go for an 8:45 reservation - service was perfect, food was delicious, we had plenty of time for a pre-dinner drink, and bottles of wine are half off after 8:30! They also treated us to an amazing dessert for our anniversary. We will definitely be back!
The food was quite good - I'm excited to try more of it. With the size of the place- it was pretty loud. I felt that we were yelling at each other for most of our experience. the wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell everyone takes great pride in providing the customer with a wonderful time.
Our first experience (9/7/12) at Bartolattas was an awesome one. Our waitress, Sara, was very professional, energetic, and smiled. She made us feel special when she greeted us "happy anniversary". The food was outstanding and the complimentary dessert was a nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful night - my wife and I left with a smile!
Go for the Heirloom Tomato menu - the burrata dish is really special!
1st time there, very good cocktails served at bar before going to our table sever was excellent our food was great wine suggested with meal was very good loved it, will come back
The visit started well right at the bar. The bartender gave great recommendations for food choices ( tried 3 of them, all wonderful, especially the duck ragu). We had a cozy table where a curtain could be pulled to seperate us from the bar and kitchen traffic. The wait staff was the highlight of the night. They were attentive but paced the meal as we wanted. The restaurant was very busy but we felt well taken care of and the food was excellent. A true dining experience vs. just "eating out".
Food and service was excellent. A little pricey to frequent on a regular basis.
PERFECT RESTAURANT FOR ALL OCCASIONS. MENU IS PHENOMENAL & STAFF EVEN BETTER. MY FAVORITE OF ALL BARTOLOTTA RESTAURANTS!
