Food as always was amazing and the service was exceptional, Mara was right on with her recommendations.
Had an excellent night out with the girls. Drinks were good. Food was fantastic. Wine was excellent as well.
We were a party of 4 on a Friday evening around 7pm. Restaurant small and very crowded. Hard to have conversation with other couple as noise level so high. Meals were well prepared and they are very accommodating of special dietary requests. Service was excellent.
Staff was friendly and professional, food was great, wine list is fantastic but pricey (and not necessarily justifiably so), but, all in all, a great dinner experience. The freshness of the ingredients in the salad I tried spoke to the pedigree of the establishment. The main entrees were delicious but nothing flashy, just good food. Their 'cellar', if they had one, was a bit warm--the first pour of the red wine we had lacking a certain coolness indicative of a proper cellar.
We came to Ristorante Bartolotta with two out-of-town guests (from New York). They both really enjoyed the meal; said it was a great pick for dinner. I've been twice and have had an excellent meal both times. The service is terrific.
All the food is very well done... Good ingredients help make food. Tried the 4 course tasting menu and each course was better than the last. Server was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and made some great recommendations. Overall one of my faves in MKE - guaranteed a good meal.
Ristorante Bartolotta is our favorite dinner destination in Milwaukee. The cocktail and wine menus always have somthing special, or just ask and they'll have it, and the food menu is remarkable. It's obvious the chef and kitchen staff give considerable thought to planning the menu and incorporating seasonal foods. RD also serves you with a staff of at least two per table. Never had a bad time or a bad meal. The food is amazing here. A little expensive, but worth every penny.
Excellent dinner, server was amazing. We'll be back.
