What a great dining experience.
As always, Bartolatta, makes dinner something I will recall with pleasure. The service impeccable. While I did not partake of the seasonal three course truffle experience, I ordered the White Truffle Risotto as my first course. While extravagant, worth the money. The risotto was prepared perfectly and it was topped with countless shavings of the pungent fungi. I've had many dishes at this quaint village restaurant,loved them all, but keep coming back for the Rigatoni - it's my all-time favorite! My friend and I come twice a year just for that! And a bottle of wine of course!
We recently dined at Ristorante Bartolotta with another couple for the express purpose of enjoying the chef's seasonal special white truffle dinner offering. The food was exquisite, with the truffles adding an "extraordinary something," while not overpowering the underlying taste of the Northern Italian cuisine. Words simply cannot describe it! This much anticipated extravaganza is the highlight of our annual dining experience, and once again did not disappoint.
The food, wine, service, everything, was excellent. As it has always been at the 'tosa restaurant!
I had never been to this restaurant but my girlfriend and I love Italian food and wanted to celebrate our 3 month anniversary with a romantic dinner. I booked reservations and in the special requests section I wrote "Romantic." Her flight was cancelled that day and I ended up driving to Ohare to pick her up. We were both exhausted.
