One of our favorite places to dine.
My only complaint was that it took a loooong time for our entrees to be served. However, they recognized our annoyance at that and provided us with a free tiramisu. Now, I'm not really a dessert person, with the exception of tiramisu. Had they brought any other dessert, I'd have said, "Gee, thanks," but still be somewhat annoyed. But their tiramisu smooths over a multitude of sins.
We have dined here before but not for a while. It was my birthday and had received a card for $20.00 off my meal. We are sure glad we used the offer. The restaurant is so cozy and romantic. The mussels appetizer, spaghetti lobster and rigatoni with eggplant were superb. Service was excellent, as all Bartolotta experiences have been for us. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening.
I am from Philadelphia and work travel takes me to Germantown WI 4-6 times a year. For 10 years every trip I go to Ristorante Bartolotta. It is outstanding in every aspect. Perhaps the biggest tribute to them is that the consistancy over the years is unchanged. I absolutely go out of my way to eat there every time in town.
My spouse and I chose to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at Ristorante Bartolotta and it did not disappoint. The food is terrific and the pace of the meal is perfect. While the food suggests an outstanding formal restaurant, the atmosphere is more like a neighborhood foodie gem.
Food and service were excellent. Had three appetizers of the fresh pasta (parpardelle, spaghetti, and ravioli) all were outstanding. We also had the chef's truffle menu which was also outstanding. Server recommended an excellent wine that went with dinner. The staff was very attentive food came at the perfect pace. It wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Overall a wonderful dining experience.
Awesome food, especially the white truffle dishes, but pork, pasta, chicken... all delicious. Service was very attentitve, friendly, not fussy. On a rainy Novemeber night, restaurant was cozy (maybe too cozy... tables were very close together.) Noise level could be a challenge for some. Good wine selection, leftovers fed us for 3 more meals!!!
Ristorante Bartolotta is consistently one of the finest restaurants in the Milwaukee area. I would put it up against any Italian restaurant I have been to in NY or San Francisco. The whole Bartolotta group of restaurants is excellent.
As usual - Ristorante Bartolotta was outstanding. The service was superb, the food was great - we even had their special white truffle appetizer. the atmosphere was typical european elegant. Great place for a special occasion. Procey for Milwaukee.
