We enjoyed are experience very much. We also very much enjoyed meeting Joe Bartolotta.
Both visits of recent 2 months the ceiling fans were set too high and the section we were seated in was uncomfortably cool. The first visit we asked to have the fan set slower, this time we just endured it.
Always an enjoyable meal.
Honestly very disappointing. We waited over 45 minutes to have our order taken. Our original server apparently didn’t want our table? So eventually Nolan took over. He was excellent. His service was great but the rest of the team was lacking. They poured still water into our glasses over sparkling, they didn’t remove empty glasses, it took forever, and the food was meh. Not worth the money at all.
$19 for a small straight up Bombay Sapphire martini was $4 too much. Not a good value.

Huge disappointment. Instead of the warm, lovely dining room at Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993, upon arrival, we were escorted back outside and two doors down the block to a defunct pizza joint and up a lengthy stair case, despite my ‘special request’ while making our reservation at Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 announcing that my wife has health issues. When dinning its polite to speak in a tone that doesn’t fill the restaurant. Some people don’t get out much I guess. Then complain to each other about the tip amount!

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The wait staff is plentiful and friendly. The food tasted and appeared like it had been made hours or days before it was ordered. Pasta was dried out from sitting on a counter or under a heat lamp. It felt like the whole experience was a great big "gotcha."
