Everything was extremely salty. We’ve never had a green salad that was salty before, so that was very odd. The ragu pasta was the best on the menu, but that was over salted as well. The beef fillet was extremely tough and I could barely cut it with a steak knife. The caramel pudding had no caramel flavor. The wine was the best thing we ordered. Spent almost $300 on one of the worst meals we’ve ever eaten.
It was “only” our 30th anniversary, but I told them in advance and I thought they could have done better than a wobbly table, a little close to another couple in a pretty empty restaurant (at that time - it filled up). The service was solid, food was good but not *exceptional*. I will go back but perhaps not for a special event.
Treated my mom, nephew, and niece to Easter brunch. Disappointed: risotto was way too salty and fish My mom ordered came with the skin on and was very unappealing.
This was our third time eating here since the started the fix menu from a different area of Italy. First it took fifty minutes to get the first food item. We basically had bread, water and wine. The main problem with the set menu is, if for instance, you wanted a pasta dish only, you will get a small plate of pasta. You have to have all the other plates that is it. Did not want dessert you will pay for it even if you did not wish to have dessert
Hostess looked at me like I was something the cat dragged in - yes I was wind blown ( it was windy outside!) and my clothes are probably from Kohls :) The servers were delightful. The food disappointing, especially for a holiday brunch. tiny portions and nothing special. I’ve never seen sea bass flat like a little perch. We literally ate again after we got home. Most disappointing meal I’ve had there. Based on this meal alone, though, I would not recommend it to a friend
It started off with something floating in my glass of wine which was replaced. We did not like the fact that the only option was that you had to order a 4-course meal. Our appetizers were good, 2nd course was very salty, 20-minute wait for our 3rd course, which was also too salt to consume it all, dessert was good. Upon receiving our bill, we were not asked how we enjoyed the meal, which I feel is a standard question at most establishments. We will not return to this restaurant.
Bread was seemingly a bit stale and definitely cold. Entrees a bit miss too temperature wise, but drinks were great and service too, especially water refills spot on.
Not as good as it used to be, food is not as good as it should be for the price point.
Food was fine. Service was good. We had a very odd issue with the second “black Manhattan” we ordered. It tasted very different than the first drink and had a strong, bitter, chemical taste. We alerted the server who said she’d bring a new one. She did not bring a new one and we canceled it. Upon telling her we no longer wanted it she explained that it had cleaner in it.
